If you are like me and purchased a polytunnel then found that when you get high winds it is not long before the cover is off the frame then you might find this tip useful.

The polytunnel I have purchased has very little in the way of straps to anchor the cover to the frame. It relies on cords attached to the corners to keep the cover in place. However in high winds it does not take long for the connection points for the cords to rip.

I considered a number of ways to keep the cover attached to the frame. Then I remembered I had a number of long cable ties. So I decided to use the ties to fix the cover to the frame. I pushed a plastic tie through the cover and wrapped it around the frame. I did this all around the frame and so far it has worked well. The advantage of this method is that you can anchor the cover in many places leaving little free area to flap around in the wind and work loose.
